Invitation from Travel Nevada’s PR Team – Outdoor Recreation Focused

Travel Nevada’s PR team is heading to Los Angeles – the country’s second largest media market and an important target market for us – to engage with 30+ top-tier travel and lifestyle journalists and influencers and encourage coverage of the Silver State, and there is an opportunity to join this mission.

There will be an immersive event the evening of Tuesday, March 21, at Brick Room, where journalists will learn about outdoor recreation in the state. Highlights will include Nevada’s unparalleled stargazing opportunities and activities like rockhounding, mountain biking, birdwatching, skiing, and more. This will be a great opportunity for media to learn about Nevada and for you, our partners, to connect with journalists directly to strengthen your own relationships for future media coverage. There is no cost for attending, attending partners will be expected to cover their own travel expenses.

Additionally, although not necessary or expected, Travel Nevada has outlined how partners who are interested/able to invest in increased exposure during the event can do so through the following opportunities for monetary or in-kind sponsorships:

• Creating spaces within the Brick Room for the aforementioned outdoor recreation experiences in Nevada. For $1,000, organizations could sponsor/“own” a specific section of the room, positioning you as the Nevada partner for stargazing/birdwatching/skiing/etc.

• Seeking in-kind donations for items to raffle off to event attendees – for example, a hotel package, experience pass, event admission, etc.
