Las Vegas Territory Meeting 1.27.22
Rural Roundup has been cancelled
- After serious heart-to-heart discussions with our partners in Virginia City, Travel Nevada had to make the difficult decision to cancel Rural Roundup for 2022.
- With the ongoing pandemic situation, we know that we will be unable to produce an event that comes close to past Rural Roundups. Virtual fatigue is real, and we think you’ll agree that it’s best to wait until we can all meet again in person.
- We look forward to this annual gathering as much as you do and think this is the best path forward. Though Rural Roundup 2022 is cancelled. We are happy to announce Rural Roundup in Mesquite in 2023 and a triumphant return to Virginia City in 2024.
Grant Updates
- With Shari’s departure, invoices may be processed slower than expected as we get other staff members up to speed on the grants process. Please remember to submit your reimbursement forms and back up as soon as possible to ensure invoice payments can be processed in a timely manner.
- The next grant cycle will launch end of Feb/early March.
- Online workshops will be held to assist anyone needing help understanding the grant process.
