The Lost City Museum was built in 1935 by members of the Civilian Conservation Corps for the National Park Service to store and exhibit artifacts recovered from Moapa Valley pre-Columbian archaeological sites. This includes the Pueblo sites of the Pueblo Grande de Nevada, also known as the Lost City.
