Operations Coordinator/Signs of HOPE/RISE ProgramA dedicated advocate and connector within her community, Heather brings over eight years of experience working directly with individuals impacted by human trafficking. She has walked alongside survivors as they pursue safety, stability, and healing, leading with compassion, consistency, and a survivor-centered approach. Heather is committed to strengthening community response by bridging gaps between organizations, resources, and frontline professionals. She is passionate about equipping others with the knowledge and tools to recognize and respond to trafficking, while fostering collaboration among those doing this critical work.Her work is rooted in empathy, connection, and a strong belief in the resilience and dignity of every person she serves.

Manager/LVMPD Vice Section/Southern Nevada Human Trafficking Task Force
A fierce protector of the most vulnerable in our community. The founder of a groundbreaking regional coalition that unites victim advocates across the state of Nevada. Jhenna Strasser, has dedicated her career to transforming how we support survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault. With a background in psychology and crisis intervention, she spent over five years on the front lines as a victim advocate with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, helping to shape the Family Justice Center during its opening year. Today, as the Manager of the Southern Nevada Human Trafficking Task Force, Jhenna leads the complex coordination between law enforcement, government agencies, and non-profits.

Anna Blalock moved to the Las Vegas area in May 2019 to pursue a career with the National Park Service. Until 2022, she served in a variety of roles supporting park operations, but in May 2022, she became Volunteer Program Coordinator. As Volunteer Program Coordinator, she is responsible for coordinating all of Lake Mead's volunteer events and service projects as well as oversees the Adopt-A-Spot program and Operation Zero boat cleanup program. In addition to volunteer operations, she is also an experienced boater and kayaker and assists with instructing other federal employees on vessel operation. Her favorite part about working with volunteers is getting to work alongside individuals who share the same passion for conservation and the outdoors. On her down time, Anna enjoys doing pottery, baking, and spending time with her fur babies, Boomer and Gracie.
