Pioneer Saloon – 310 NV-161, Goodsprings NV 89109
Open since 1913, Pioneer Saloon is the oldest bar in southern Nevada. Walking up, and into, this bar you’re immediately taken back in history. Much of the interior is still the same, including the original stamped tin walls from the Sears & Roebuck catalog. It’s a famous Nevada historical landmark, known among other things as the headquarters where Clark Gable sat and waited for news on the ill-fated Carol Lombard who passed away in a plane crash in Mt. Potosi just behind the bar. Pioneer Saloon sources several Nevada breweries, and the owners even have their own liquor, Old Man Liver Whiskey.
