Goodsprings

Pioneer Saloon – 310 NV-161, Goodsprings NV 89109

Open since 1913, Pioneer Saloon is the oldest bar in southern Nevada. Walking up, and into, this bar you’re immediately taken back in history. Much of the interior is still the same, including the original stamped tin walls from the Sears & Roebuck catalog. It’s a famous Nevada historical landmark, known among other things as the headquarters where Clark Gable sat and waited for news on the ill-fated Carol Lombard who passed away in a plane crash in Mt. Potosi just behind the bar. Pioneer Saloon sources several Nevada breweries, and the owners even have their own liquor, Old Man Liver Whiskey.

The Brew Brothers – 2121 S. Casino Dr. Laughlin, NV 89029

If you’re planning on cruising the river or hiking in Laughlin, you can make a pit stop in the Tropicana Laughlin and let your taste buds do the walking down a flight of beers at The Brew Brothers. In addition to their own beer, the tap list features several Las Vegas based craft breweries as well as nationwide favorites including Firestone Walker and Dogfish Head to name a few. The Brew Brothers is more than just a brewery, they also offer delicious appetizers, burgers and pizzas to help you fill up and recharge after a day of activities.

Boulder City

Beer Zombies Boulder City 567 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV 89005

A Las Vegas favorite for Hazy IPA’s and fruited sours, Beer Zombies recently opened a draft room in Boulder City. With ample indoor and outdoor seating, BZBC offers a great desert oasis to quench your thirst. Their tap list not only includes their delectable crafty concoctions, but also 100% independent craft beer from breweries across the globe. Be on the lookout for regular tap takeovers, live music, and other special events that are always popping up here.

Boulder Dam Brewing Co. 453 Nevada Way, Boulder City, NV, 89005

Having opened in 2007, Boulder Dam Brewing Co. is the first brewery to hit the Boulder City scene in recent years. The interior reflects a lot of the city’s past, from selecting decor fitting of the 1930’s when the city was founded as Boulder Dam (later renamed Hoover Dam) was being built, to incorporating actual pieces of equipment used in the construction of the dam. Besides taking a little step back in history, you can enjoy their ample tasty beers alongside burgers, salads, sandwiches and more. For the adventurous, try their blended brews featuring “mixed libations with an attitude.”
